It's the debut Transatlantic collaboration of New York based pop singer songwriter Sue Bachner (of the band Ether Park) and UK Power Pop luminary Paul "Trip" Ryan, AKA SUPER 8! "Right in the Middle of Summer" (R.I.T.M.O.S.) is a fun retro summer song inspired by early Beach Boys tunes. The song was written by Sue Bachner with instrumentation and production by Trip Ryan, and features vocals and harmonies by Sue and Trip!

It was the loneliest week of the summer. I was feeling kind of cloudy and blue.

I was stuck in a rut with nothing very happening to do.
Half the summer was gone, and I had nothing special to show for it.
Which was kind of a drag, ‘cause summer is the time

I was wishing for summertime magic.
Like trying to catch a firefly in a jar.
But time was flying away and wishing wasn’t getting me very far.
